- 2 burger buns
- 2 plant-based patties
- 2 handfuls lettuce
- 2 gherkins
- ยฝ tomato, sliced
- 6 slices white onion
- 2 slices vegan cheddar
Burger Sauce
- ยฝ cup (118.29 g) silken tofu (or vegan mayo)
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp tomato sauce (ketchup)
- 1 tsp mustard
- ยฝ tsp (0.5 tsp) garlic powder
- ยฝ tsp (0.5 tsp) sweet paprika
- ยฝ tsp (0.5 tsp) onion powder
- 1 tbsp gherkins relish
Instructions
- Start by whisking or blending all the sauce ingredients together until well combined.
- Cook the plant-based patties according to the instructions provided on the packet.
- Place the slices of vegan cheddar on the buns and toast them in the oven until the cheese has melted.
- Assemble the burger in the following order: bottom bun, sauce, onions, gherkins, cooked patty, tomato slices, lettuce, more sauce, and finally, the top bun with melted cheese.
